What shaped me
I've spent the last decade working across nonprofit leadership, federal grant programs and mission-driven organizations — close to the systems and decisions shaping how people live and how communities operate.
With a background spanning public health, board advisory service, and addiction prevention and wellness, my work has always centered around people: how they function, what influences decision-making and what helps them move forward in healthier, more sustainable ways.
I'm a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach with experience in program management, coalition partnerships and community-based initiatives — work that continues to shape how I approach leadership and real estate today.
What's stayed constant is a curiosity about people and the decisions that move their lives forward.
Where I focus today
Today, my work is primarily centered around real estate in Greenville and the Upstate — working with buyers, sellers, investors and business owners who value clear communication and long-term thinking over pressure and quick transactions.
Alongside that, I'm building out the speaking and advisory side of my work — keynotes, lunch & learns and engagements that draw on my health coaching and prevention education background. It's the kind of work I'm excited to keep growing into.
I tend to work best with thoughtful, high-capacity people balancing multiple priorities at once — people who want a trusted sounding board, honest perspective and someone who can help them think clearly through important decisions.
What excites me most about Greenville right now is the growth — not just economically, but in the conversations happening around business, community, wellness and the kind of place people want this area to become over the next decade. Through real estate, speaking, writing and community involvement, I'm interested in being part of that evolution in a meaningful way.
Why this, why now
We landed in Greenville because of my husband's job — a move that, like a lot of good ones, didn't come with a tidy plan attached. It gave me the space to stop and ask what I actually wanted to be building, and who I wanted to be building it with.
What came out of that was a decision to stop holding the pieces of my work separately. Real estate, advising, board service, writing — they've always pulled from the same place.
Ashley Ryan Living is the place where all of those threads finally came together.
This season is still evolving in real time — networking, taking on the right clients and projects, and putting the pieces in place.
